Milwaukee Poet Laureate 2025 nominee Kavon Cortez Jones will share poetry & spoken word selections.

Artist Melanie Ariens will lead all ages silk screening of NOH8 posters for you to make & take home.

Milwaukee Poet Laureate emeritus Susan Firer will uplift the works of Black women poets Wanda Coleman & Lucille Clifton & share some of her own winter pieces.

The Whitefish Bay High School Black Student Union will read excerpts from Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.’s teachings.
